As always, the Emmys wouldn’t be complete without a little swag and this year’s gift suites were a hit. It was nice to see that with the state of the world, this year’s celebrity lounges were geared toward charity.

GBK Productions hosted a celebrity giving suite at the world famous Mondrian hotel. They gave celebrities over $35,000 in the newest tech gadgets, designer clothing from The Laguna Beach Jean Co., spa treatments and even luxurious vacation getaways.
GBK is most famous for it’s charity and has given over 2 million dollars to very worthwhile charities that include: BET Foundation, Brent Shapiro Foundation, Clothes off our Back, Eva Longoria's, Padre Contra El Cancer, Educating Young Minds, Global Green, Kevin Bacon's 6 Degree's, Habitat for Humanity, Harbor Foundation, Humane Society, I-C- Hope Foundation, Isaiah Washington's Gondobay Manga Foundation, Leeza's Place, Heal Breast Cancer Foundation, John Wayne Cancer Society, Project Angel Food , Project Nightlife , A Rose of Thanks Foundation, The Amber Watch Fund, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Writer's Guild of America, Save the Tata's, Sharon Osbourne Colon Cancer Foundation, So The World May Hear and Virgin America.

The Silver Spoon Emmy Suite was also a big hit this year. Their support in the fight against breast cancer was apparent by their choice of vendors. New Balance shoes and apparel stayed committed to it’s Lace Up for the Cure® sponsorship by pledging 15% of sales to be given to breast cancer research. Last year, New Balance gave $1 million dollars in philanthropic support. But they weren’t the only ones supporting the cause; each participant in the lounge was in spirit by giving celebrities everything from pink t-shirts and tank tops to ceramic butter dishes by L.Tremain adorned with the famous pink ribbon.
